ThunderLAN this Saturday!

ThunderLAN is on this Saturday so tell your friends and make sure you’re ready as its going to be a fun night.

ThunderLAN 28th of April

For this LAN we are going to have Call of Duty: World at War, BRINK, and Counterstrike: Global Offensive as the organized games. CS:GO is one of the classics, but strangely it has been a good number of years since World at War has made an appearance. BRINK is a complete new one to our list, and I’m excited to see how it turns out. We also have a new game for the LanOlympics, which should be quite fun.

Like usual, each game will be played for 2 hours, with breaks in between, but that doesn’t mean that’s all you can play. If you feel like playing something else, feel free to do so. There will be the usual console and PC gamers mix around, so there will be a variety of games played.

Details

This ThunderLAN starts back at our 3pm time, rather than the 4pm we had for the last event, and finishes at midnight.
Entry fee is $15. If you’re just checking it out, or its your first time, then it’s free.

Location

The location is the Sadadeen Marian Hall. Drive in to the Sadadeen campus, and follow the road going down the side of the school until you reach the hall. Plenty of parking is available.

Preparation

Here is the common reminder to make sure you’re ready for ThunderLAN. Make sure your computer is up to date, you have the latest drivers, and that your games are installed (and up to date). In particular, have the organized games installed, and any games you think you can get other people to play.
