Good news for ThunderLAN, OLSH has recently been upgraded with 2x 50Mbps internet links. These are enterprise class fiber lines with a 1:1 contention ratio, meaning no upstream bottle necking that you see with NBN. We’ll have access to 1 of them this weekend’s event, and following events will have access to both and load balancing to follow. Going forward, this opens up the possibility for more internet reliant games. I cant wait to see what we can do with this.
